Our original intent was to open the North Beach Farmers Market for our 3rd season this coming Saturday. As you might have expected, these plans need to be adjusted in the face of COVID-19. We have decided to postpone the reopening of the market due to safety concerns with the size of our space and social distancing requirements
As Spring weather sweeps across San Francisco and the first crops of the season are ready to be picked, we’re left with deep sadness that we won’t be able to gather with you as we had so looked forward to.
But, we have decided to prioritize the safety of both our farms and our guests above all in this difficult moment. We’re closely watching what other markets are doing to change their operations, and we’re thinking about how we might be able to adjust our setup to safely reopen again sometime later this year.
We’ll stay in touch, and we hope you’ll do the same. Please follow the market on Facebook and Instagram as well.
Thank You
Your North Beach Farmers Market Team
